This contest is open to the following age groups:
Junior artists: 6 – 8-year-olds
Intermediate artists: 9 – 12-year-olds
Countries
This contest is open to applicants worldwide. Please keep in mind that the shipping of prizes may take longer depending on your location in the world.
Medium
Only traditional visual artwork will be accepted, not digital (computer-generated). The art must be done by hand (or foot or mouth for handicapped children). Any of the following mediums are permitted:
- Colored pencils
- Crayons
- Pastels or charcoal
- Watercolor
- Acrylic or oil paint
- Markers or pens
- Paper collages (without the use of printed images or photocopies)
Style
Any and all styles are permitted. I want young artists to use their imagination! As both a realistic wildlife portrait artist as well as a fantasy illustrator, I would love to see both styles in the submissions.
